Doc Asphalt was founded by Dr. Raj Rajagopal, who has more than 35 years of academic and professional experience in Civil Engineering with an extensive background in pavement engineering, design/analysis, material testing, research/forensic investigations, non-destructive testing, pavement condition survey, innovative product development, and pavement asset management. Dr. Raj has provided services for State Departments of Transportation, counties, cities, townships, and private clients all over the US and Canada. He has a long career of demonstrating solutions for parking lots to highways – resulting in the most cost-effective pavement solution to maximize pavement lifespan.
